The past couple of months have given us a great deal of time to reflect. We’ve been proudly serving the Fort Myers community for almost 20 years! While we consider this a huge accomplishment, more importantly, we look to the results of providing locally made products and services with even more admiration. We love that being a small business means we are not only helping people of this community to better their lives, but we have employed staff members–for years–that live and work right here. If the past couple of months have taught us anything, it’s that buying local makes a direct difference.
Small Business Support: How Can You Help?
We are living in unprecedented times. While everyone’s lives have been affected, we know–without a doubt–that the small businesses of our community have been hit hard. Our favorite restaurants, salons, floral shops–these places need support. We’ve got some ideas for you!
Your Opinion Matters. Telling friends, family, neighbors and co-workers about a great experience with a small business is invaluable. You help increase strength when you spread the word!
Don’t Forget Online. We’ve all spent way more time on the internet in the past 8 weeks. Leaving online reviews, pictures and comments on your experiences helps more than you know. This can include following social pages and sharing posts you like.
Purchase Gift Cards. The wonderful thing about gift cards is that you get to help struggling small businesses pay their employees and put dinner on the table, but you’ll also get to enjoy the gift card down the road!
Donate to Charity. These nonprofits are doing such important work in our communities right now, and they need our support to do so!
Moving Forward with Locally Made
We haven’t often mentioned this, but we’ve realized it should be a focus moving forward. This is more important now–than ever before–with so many of the people of our country in need of work. Small towns across the country, like Bessemer City, North Carolina, Cumberland, Maryland, Broomfield, Colorado, and a number of others create the product collections we all love.
